Gluten free crepes!!! And they are to die for! OMG! After an hour of peering into every available eatery in Deep Cove, we finally found what we were looking for: Healthy, gluten free, sustainable living/ethical food, that is also delicious and affordable! 😆My kids devoured the breakfast crepe and said that the eggs were the best they've ever tasted. I was happy to hear they use free range eggs 👍 they use only Organic and locally sourced produce!Even more impressive, is that this open and airy, friendly spot is locally owned and run!They are having a workshop in the adjourning space that looked very interesting. The room was full and every chair taken, so it is clearly a valuable service for the community!

This is definitely the place for a great smoothie. I also loved the waste free section in the back. My only negative critic was the service. It took a long time to make the smoothies.

This is an exceptional market and cafe. The best in the neighbourhood. If you are vegan or zero-waste, this is the place for you. We tried a curry wrap with mango chutney, a chocolate mylkshake, a pesto bowl, and a buddha bowl. The quality was excellent and the vegan options were much appreciated.The market had a lot of dried and bulk foods which is great for zero waste. The dispensers of shampoo and soap are a greatThere were a number or items for sale around the shop. Everything from essential oils to divacups.Truly a company for the future.

The staff are so friendly, welcoming and really made me feel accommodated for asking for extra room for milk and mixing the milk options. They carry a wide range of local products in the back at very reasonable prices. Hygge & Fika 👌🏻

Sorry in my last review, I got this mixed up with another Blue Star cafe. However I was here though for a really delicious soup, London fog and a chocolate macaroon! Very busy place yet very efficient, and the ginger butternut soup was so good! Can't wait to return for lunch again :)

It was my first time here. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered dripped coffee and peanut butter 🍪, which was the cashier's recommendation. It was a little pricey but delicious. The coffee tasted nice and fresh. I liked the fact that it's not fruity and acidic. The cookie was soft and crunchy, sweet but not too sweet with a little salty taste. Another important factor that got my attention was waste free business. The store was a quite and peaceful. I will visit again for more.

Very healthy good, great portion sizes and extremely paid back. Staff are super friendly and there is a variety of healthy & vegan options to choose from 😀

Super cute place with really yummy crepes and smoothies. I especially loved the “Blu Lagoon” smoothie bowl! A delicious and healthy option and worth the visit if you’re around deep cove :)

I love everything about this cafe!! This is a perfect place to fuel up before the Baden Powell hike, or reward yourself after :-)High notes:- great food: the spinach wrap and curry wrap were neatly prepared and delicious- great coffee and pastries (recommend: blueberry scone + cappuccino)- this cafe/market is oriented towards zero waste, which I really respect!- very charming and calming interior decor and background music

Love the location of the cafe- right in deep cove. The food was great and staff was friendly. First time I’ve had vegan crepes and they were so good! I went back the next week! They have nice options of both savoury and sweet crepe options which can be vegan or regular.

Bluhouse is a charming little cafe with great coffee and a cool little garden "patio" out back. Good location from the water and not overpriced. They have also have non-dairy options (unsweetened, which is great) and the dairy milk they do use is Avalon which is great quality. Everything is also zero waste which was a super neat added bonus, but they still maintain non-intimidating, non-snooty and casual vibes! Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Went back twice in one day for their smoothies!! They were SO nourishing! Staff were incredibly friendly and are so passionate about quality ingredients. There’s a garden out back and a market inside as well.Also best gluten free goods ever ever ever... we even bought cookies to take home to Calgary for a gluten free family member!

This place is dedicated to being as good to the planet as possible and feeding people at the same time. I loved it immediately. Bright with art all over the walls… I was charmed. I loved the rustic furniture, all the white paint and the white washed wooden plank ceiling. I ordered the forage crepe and helped myself to a mason jar of water. Turns out they were out of mushrooms so I had to choose another crepe. I picked the one with smoked salmon but it came with too many greens. Sadly, I did not like it very much which was a shame. Just too dry. My husband got a berry smoothie and loved it. Generous in size and flavour.If you go Deep Cove to visit this place make sure to go off season if you want a parking spot. It can get crazy-busy in the summer which is why we went in February and during a week day.
